Kobogumo - Dessert Spoon - Maple
Kobogumo - Dessert Spoon - Maple
I've been looking for a wooden cutlery that goes well with the pottery, and finally found it. This is Mr. Onodera from Kobo Kumo, which is made in Itoshima, Fukuoka.
It is a dessert spoon that is hand carved from maple wood with a delicate expression. Maple is characterized by its warm color and fine grain, and it blends smoothly into any vessel. The warm texture goes well with ceramics, and one of the charms is that it doesn't make a clattering sound. It is 13.5 cm, which is a small size, but it is rounded and can be scooped firmly.
In addition to snacks such as yogurt and pudding, it is also convenient for scooping condiments on the table.
We wanted you to use it without hesitation, so we applied an easy-to-maintain urethane coating. With a natural finish that suppresses luster, it retains the warm texture of wood. Kumo's features include durability, resistance to stains, and easy handling that can be washed with detergent.
Length 13.5 x Width 2.6 cm
*In the 7th and subsequent images, it is used for a 5-sun plate.

If you are concerned about the smell of paint, wash it with lukewarm water several times before using it.
■ Daily handling
Avoid using a microwave oven, dishwasher, or dish dryer.
■ After use
Wash with a soft sponge, etc., wipe off moisture and dry in a well-ventilated shade. You may use a neutral detergent. Please note that soaking in water for a long time or exposing to direct sunlight may cause discoloration or deterioration. If you leave dark colors such as soy sauce or curry on it for a long time, it will cause stains.
